La Vie en Rose looks at the world through a deliberately flattering filter. Bathed in soft pinks and feminine glamour, its muse inhabits the romantic idea of seeing life en rose, not because reality is perfect, but because perspective is a choice. There is sweetness here, but also a knowing sophistication: optimism with its eyes open. A portrait about softness, elegance and the occasional pleasure of allowing reality to arrive with slightly better lighting.
This is an individually hand-finished Petite Edition by Wendy Buiter, created with layers of paint, texture and carefully applied details. Each piece bears the presence of the artist's hand and is never entirely identical to another edition.
Presented in a handcrafted black wooden floater frame, this artwork is signed, individually numbered and permanently documented in the Wendy Buiter archive, and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
